The Kildare Joint Policing Committee was established in Sept 2009. It has 26 members representing Kildare Local Authority, Gardai, Oireachtas members and the Community. The Kildare JPC has identified three key areas - 1. Crime, Drugs & Public order. 2. Community Engagement. 3. Traffic. Three subcommittee's are in the process of being established to develop actions for 2010 in these areas. You can have your say by submitting a question or a topic for discussion by clicking on the link on the right hand side of the page. The JPC will hold four meeting a year each of these meetings are open to the public to attend. Questions must be submitted ten days in advance of the meeting.
